Charity  Liu

          My name is Charity Liu. I was born at 4^th March 1980. I study in Fu-Jen Catholic University with double majors in Italian and English. Now, I am a senior student, but because I have so many credits to take, I think I have to stay here for the fifth year. I am not tall at all and have a moderate figure. I have long hair but not too long to reach my waist. I have slightly near-sighted eyes, but I seldom wear my glasses. I only wear them when I am in the class. I am not used to wear them actually.

I am an introverted person, so speech and conversation classes indeed are great challenges for me. I don¡¦t talk really much but often be a listener to my friend. I think my personality is quite matched with Pieces kind. I am not really superstitious or believe what it says on the astrology books, but some qualities in Pieces may correspond to me, such as being sentimental, imaginative and sensitive.

There are six persons in my family including my parents and tree elder brothers. I am the youngest and the only girl. They are all much older than me. My eldest brother is already 36 years old. He is married and has a very cute and smart two-year old son. We live in Taichung, which is a big city situated at the central part of Taiwan. I think it is the best place in Taiwan because it has not been so over developed and over populated as Taipei, so it is not too crowded. The weather is the best too with less rain and moderate temperature. It just like a vacation spot because there are still extensive forests and numerous special and romantic caf顦 in Taichung. My family run a small bakery named as Grandma¡¦s Cookies (actually it is a cookies shop) that we sell homemade cookies and cheesecakes.

I love to play the piano and, even now I still have a wish to keep track on my dream in studying music. I often play the piano in the church. My whole families are Christians. I play almost all kinds of music, such as classics, jazz, church music, soft music, movies and popular ones. Besides, I love to watch movies and listen to the music.

I like dogs so much. I have had many dogs before. When I was little, there were not many kids as the same age as me, I felt quite boring and lonesome; however, dogs accompanied me and gave me many beautiful and abundant memories for my childhood. I am crazy about dogs indeed!

I also like to travel, but I think it¡¦s a little bit difficult for me now. First it is because I don¡¦t have time and secondly I don¡¦t have much money. I want to go to not only the United States but also Japan. I had studied Japanese for one semester, but I think I didn¡¦t learn it well. It is difficult. But, I will still learn it anyway because I have made my mind that I must go travel to Japan someday.
