Joyce  Chuang

      Hello! My dear friend,

       My Chinese name is Lan-tsz Chuang, and my English name is Joyce.  I was born on October 8, 1981 in Taoyuan, Taiwan.  My family includes my parents, my elder brother, elder sister, and I.  My father is a mechanist who operates a factory by himself, and my mother is a housekeeper.  Among all the subjects, Iˇ¦m most interested in English, and which is my best subject at the same time.  I aimed at English Department as my first choice after taking entrance exam for university in Taiwan. 

Besides learning English, I love to see all kinds of movies.  I think that movies can arouse our inspiration to certain degree and teach us things we couldnˇ¦t obtain in our daily life.  For the sports, Iˇ¦m good at playing basketball and tennis as well.  Iˇ¦ve been a member of basketball team in my senior high school, and we won a championship and the second place in the inter-classes basketball competition.  And Iˇ¦ve won a championship for double play and the second place for single play in a tennis competition of our community.  Also due to my parentsˇ¦ interests in traveling, Iˇ¦ve been lucky enough to travel with them around the island and the world since I was a child.  If Iˇ¦m lucky enough, I hope I could become a tour manager after graduation.  Nice to have you as our departmentˇ¦s companions!
