Eric  Lin

      Greetings! My name is Lin-Keng-An, and English name is Eric. I come from Taiwan, and it¡¦s a great pleasure for me to get acquainted with a new, foreign pen pal! Let me introduce myself briefly^_^. 

    I was born in Kaohsiung (One of cities in Taiwan.) ,1982 and had lived there for more than eighteen years. After I was admitted into the English Department, Fu-Jen Catholic University, I move to stay in the university dormitory in Taipei County. 

     There are five members in my family, and I¡¦m the youngest. My father is in his fifties, and is retired. My mother is fifty, and she¡¦s an English teacher in junior high school. But she¡¦s planning to retire next year as well. My elder sister is 5-6 years older than me, and she has just graduated from the graduate school in Germany, and going to come back in April or earlier. My brother is 2 years older than me, but since the university he studies is located in Kaohsiung city, he can still live at home.

     My blood type is A, and my horoscope is Virgo. I think I¡¦m an introvert, sentimental, shy, and pessimistic person. Hope my words won¡¦t scare you away^^. My favorite sport is playing basketball, though after studying in the college, I have less time for taking exercise¡K. And my hobbies are playing TV games and computer games, reading comics, and listening to music. I especially appreciate ACG (abbreviation of animations, comics, and games) in Japan, and keep a habit of buying Japanese magazines or illustration books! I believe that will be interesting if we can exchange our experiences and opinions on this aspect. Moreover, though I¡¦m not an otaku, I have many interests in learning Japan¡¦s culture. If I could, I would like to take a double major in Japanese in my sophomore year, thus I¡¦ve started to learn some initial Japanese. Besides, I like to watch NBA plays, because I feel it¡¦s a kind of enjoyment when I see those NBA stars¡¦ spectacular skills.

     I do hope we can get along with each other pleasantly. If we could have the same interests, then we are supposed to have a very nice communication^0^.
