I wondered one scene in The Player which Griffin Mill decided to donate old Hollywood film to the museum.
Is there any significant meaning in this scene ? Does the motivation of the donating old film to the museum refer
to one of Altman's criticism to Hollywood film? I think the action and the motivation of donating film are means of
removal of the past; meanwhile, thay suggest the humiliation those old film and the removal of the "authors" who
are hidden behind or within those old film.
