Indeed there are quite a lot of outstanding Taiwan's anamators. They learn tenichques from Anericans and Japanese, but creat carttons representing Taiwanese characteristics. As far as I know, these anamators once said that if Taiwan's government world like to pay more attention on encourging its local cultural industry as some other western govenments do, such as Canadian and American, they can do much better. The same words/complaint was also expressed by some of documentary producers here in Taiwan. Since we can hardly exclude ourselve from globalization but is participating in "inter-cultural communication," why don't we encourge and promote our anamations and documentaries as a posiive conversation with other members in the global villiage.
