Each class will begin with a brief writing exercise on the assigned reading.
Each week a one-page reading journal will be placed on the Internet class for this course.
Videos of many of the texts read and other videos by Chinese Americans will be shown at a selected time.
A history of Chinese in America will also be read during this semester.
