COURSE
DESCRIPTION:
Welcome
back to the Grammar & Writing Practice Course! After one semester, I hope
that you, with self-confidence, start to enjoy writing as a process of movement,
discovery, and communication. I believe you are ready to the new semester now!
Again, I would like to remind you that the regular
attendance, class participation,
learning attitude, and assignments submitting on time are very important for
your grade and progress in language learning. If you are absent, you are
responsible for the material that we cover in the class. If you miss the class
for more than three times (with excuses or non-excuses), you might not pass the
course. Any
delayed assignment will be reviewed but no graded, and you are expected to
complete assigned writings on your own; that is, “no late paper!” and “no
plagiarizing!” Failure
to do so will positively affect your final grade.
Remember this – The best way to improve your writing ability is to
write, write, and write some more—to learn and/or for pleasure. I hope you can
try your best to follow the course and be
an active web-visitor to our course Web site.
May
you have a happy new semester and happy spring!
Enjoy
your learning!J
