  Purpose

   The purpose of this Practicum is to provide students real-world teaching experiences in local elementary schools. Each group will lead two classes in this semester. In this Practicum you will apply TESL methods learned to real elementary-level classroom settings. Besides, you will have contacts with English teachers and students in the elementary school level.

1.  Grouping & Scheduling

2.  Visit國泰國小&許素玲老師on 3/8 (Thursday), 3:00~4:00

Purposes:

(1) To get familiar with the classroom and available equipment/materials.

(2) To obtain suggestions from the teacher.

3.  Design two lesson plans (one for each sections).

4.  Turn in two copies for each lesson plan on 4/9 (Monday).

5.  During the class: Take pictures of your teaching for your portfolio.
6.  Turn in two reports (one for each section) after you finish the whole practicum (at least one-page of an A4 paper for each section).
