Occupation: Now a freshman of Department of Communications Design

is also a talented songwriter and guitarist. His band "13"
actually released their debut album in Taiwan in 2001.

Reason: He is a mate of mine and I really appreciate his sense of
art as a painter. This time I am responsible for the webpage of Mina
Loy, a visual artist/poet, so I thought I might ask him to draw
an exclusive painting based on some recurring images I found in Loy's
poetry, especially in Songs to Joannes.

Reflection: The result is amazingly good for me considering the fact
that I only showed him the department Loy website and gave him several
ideas of central images such as "moon", "wings"
and "fluidity". I love his usage of color, the pervasive
red/orange tone of blood/flesh and the occasional dressing of the
watery blue, hinting the wandering possibility of purification and
transcendence.
