“The Influence of the Internet Marketing Strategy on Purchase Intention”

The advances of the internet have changed our lives dramatically and the frequency of people using the internet is increasing. It gives opportunities for companies to market their products or service to consumers in a lower cost. This research studies on how different types of marketing strategies affects consumers’ buying intention and takes Yahoo! website as the case study. The analysis results from forty questionnaires and existing resources. This study aims to find out the most effective online marketing strategy for companies. Besides, even though consumers may have no reaction right away when they see the advertisement, sometimes consumers will remember the advertisement and might cause them to buy products or service in the future.

"Techno Music: A Contemporary Genre with Introspective Theme."

The purpose of my research is to find out why the public opinions in Taiwan form a rather negative impression toward Techno music, while I’ve experienced this genre and found it quite innovative with meaningful themes and worth appreciating. My final goals are the following two: to prove that the false stereotype toward Techno Music are mainly based on related negative behaviors instead of “music” itself, and to persuade the audience that Techno Music is indeed filled with depth in their content, and is worth respected and appreciated. The methods for my data collection would be both questionnaires as well as personal interviews. With the outcome of data collection, I can further revise my thesis statement to fit in the conclusion part of my research.
