The course: The purpose of this course is to give students a basis for and
practical experience in developing, adapting, and evaluating instructional¡@
techniques and materials for English teaching. Throughout the course of the¡@
semester, short chapters, journal articles, and other readings will be assigned
to expand students' knowledge about English teaching. In addition to some¡@
hands-on projects, students will have the opportunity to evaluate and conduct
micro-teachings in the classroom.

Requirements and Gradings:
Attendance and participation in class discussions---5%
Video Critiques I,II---5% for each, total 10%
Response essays and presentations I,II---10% for each, total 20%
Curriculum Design Projects I~III---15% for each, total 45%
Micro teaching-20 minutes per person---20%
