Dear freshmen,       Welcome to the world of literature! In this yearly course,  we shall explore the three genres of literature, discuss various  topics about life, and familiarize ourselves with master or  interesting writers of Western literature. You will learn to  read, enjoy, respond, and even evaluate or criticize the ideas  of the authors as independent and analytical thinkers !  To prepare you for the exciting journey, here is a literature lab for you to explore and experience the dynamics of literature reading.  Master more vocabulary, learn how writers use the best words in the best order in the best sentence structure.  And more importantly, learn to analyze and evaluate stories with the hints given in the leading questions.  Enjoy your reading and learning of literature !!!
