Take-home Exercises

This exercise requires you to summarize the article, "Reconstructing Film Scores."  Please follow the instructions below:
 

1. Click on the link to download the file to your disk. 
2. Enter the downloaded file on your computer and type the summary in Word. 
3. Save the completed summary and change the file name by using your own name and student number.  (For example, your name is Maggie, and your number is 36.  The file name of your summary should thus be Maggie_36.doc.) 
4. Send your summary to the email account of your reading class.

 
Please download the file and complete the concept map of "A Brief History of Classical Music."  (The instructions on how to complete the map is given in the file.)  After completing the concept map, please print it out and then bring the hard copy to class for submission.  Please faithfully meet the duedate of submission.

In this unit, you are required to read 4 fact sheet articles.  Please take notes on the three articles, other than "Reconstructing Film Scores," that you read in class. 

Please click on the link to download the form of reading notes to your disk.  Then enter the downloaded file on your computer to type up your notes.  Next save the completed form and print it out.  Bring the hard copy of the completed form to class for discussion.
