     Actually, Willy had a great influence on Biff and Happy. Because Happy 's father is a salesman, this job would give the dream of salesman. Moreover, it has the meaning of deceiving. Willy teaches his son this kind of bad habit- deceive himself. So Happy has the tendency to deceive, lie, and dream. When Happy gets together with his brother Biff, they talk about some unrealistic plan, such as the company was named "The Loman Brothers", the plan of Florida, and so on.
Ex: when he is waiting for Biff in the restaurant with Stanley, he says his brother is a big cattleman in the west. For a while, when he meets a woman he lay that Biff is a great football player.
     We can find that Happy is even worse than his brother Biff. He wants to compete to other people. He desires for statue, one day he can become a manager. He also wants to earn a lot of money. Besides, he wants women, this is why he likes to pay attention to women.
Ex: Happy: I would! Somebody with character, with resistance! Like mom, y'know? You are gonna call me bastard when I tell you this. That girl Charlotte I was with tonight is engaged to be married in five weeks.
      However, when Happy gain this things, he would thinks these are meaningless. He has the feeling of lose, so dose Biff have. Although Biff was angry with Willy, he still says his father is a "good man" in front of other people. But Happy denies Willy is his father, he ignores his father and goes away with his girls. When he comes home, he says to Linda" Why? He had a swell tome with us. Listen, when I- desert him I hope I don't outlive the day!"
At the end , we know Happy stays in New York in order to fulfill his father's job. However, he doesn't have the 'self-consciousness' as Biff has. Actually, he inherits Willy's philosophy of life. He is another Willy in the world.
