Congratulations to Lee-Hong!! He won two awards on Friday one is for best producer and the other for best singer!
Although his music creation is not really my favorite but I still like him. One of the reasons for not being able to appreciate
fully his music is because I don't like R&B. And the reason for not liking R&B is that I don't like Blues (chain reaction). I like
fast tempo music such as dance music( though i don't dance) and one of my favorite is TK's music. Many have critcised that
his music is all the same which i really disagree. There are particular tempos for particular music and since TK's
music focuses on dance music then it may easily give people the impression of being very much alike because the
rythem are quite the same. For other composers, they might have produced an album with a variety of music and when
the same type of music are arranged seperately the similarities would not stand out that much.
The only female singer i truly appreciate is Fay Wang. Her voice is very clear and transparent moreover she has an
inborn voice for singing. Many other singers have tried to imitate her singing style but none could compare. Besides
her unusual vocal sound the lyrics of her songs are very philosophical. Sometimes the lyrics may be hard to interpret
but that's the good part because one can understand it in his or her own way.
Other than pop I also enjoy classical very much. But the standards of fast tempo is still applied so Tchikovsky is my favorite.
I know a lot of people like to listen to music while they are working or studying but in my opinion, i think music should be
appreciated with full attention. If one does both things at the same time then he/she not only can't concentrate on the work he/she
is doing but may as well spoil the good music.
