Antigone and Ismene are the daughters of Oedipus and Jocasta, and Creon is their uncle who adopted them and their brothers, Eteocles and Polynieces, after the death of their parents. Afterwards, Haemon, the son of King Creon and Eurydice, is engaged to Antigone. The tragedy begins after an insurrection against Creon led by Polynieces and results in the death of both brothers. What can Antigone and Ismene do for the death of their brothers?
