This is my first time participating in a play and I¡¦m responsible for the stage and properties, which is a tough task. As a beginner, I have to thank the students from NTU for being a professional guidance. Fiddler on the Roof is a drama that contains lots of challenges both onstage and backstage. Since the story happened in a Jewish family long ago, I need to do researches to grasp the background knowledge. Besides, it¡¦s really hard to find properties nowadays that can conform to the time and culture of the play. Therefore, many things have to be handmade. As to the stage, since there are many changes of scenes, including indoor and outdoor scenes, so the stage must be flexible. That¡¦s why we decided to make a stage that can revolve. After all, I learned a lot in the process, and I hope you all like the design and enjoy our performance.

This play is full of passion, energy, and intelligence. It is a great experience for me to take part in this work, especially in the senior year. Hope our senior play could bring the audience joy and tears.

This is my first time participating in a play but also the last time before I leave the Fu Jen campus. Actors and actresses perform their best on stage; we set everything in right position for them.

It¡¦s a play which may only last for two hours, but  it takes months¡¦ preparation.

We will present what we practice for months and what we learn for the four years in the best condition. Hope you all enjoy it and appreciate our efforts!!

When, staunchly entering the port,

After those eventful journeys, filled with howls of the wind and  raging of the fire,

Continuously tearing away the ship, into

     fragments, into particles, and

Yet, I only see the beauty laid down before me,

The magnificent memories--life everlasting.
