(1).
Summary teaching: Read/research on one of the topics (assessing reading,
writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary) and present the
important principles to the class.
(2). Apply the principles learned in your reading and class lectures to
evaluate an existing test (or a way of assessment) related to your chosen
topic. Include the following in your evaluation: background information
of the assessment/test chosen, evaluation procedures (including all the
criteria used in your evaluation), and your conclusion/critique (both
strengths and weaknesses of the test being evaluated). Present all your
information and necessary materials in the forms of handouts and/or transparencies
in your presentation. A list of how you distribute the work and the outline
of your presentation must be submitted before the day of your presentation.
