Hi, Daphne, Thank you for letting me know this poem. Sounds quite interesting. e.e.cumming, as far as I know, is for keeping things natural without human intervention. The problem here, or the point the "Making of the MOnster" project makes, is that we can not be "naturally born," or coherent and whole. There has been so much interaction between humans and machines--for instance, saving your homework and memory on a diskette that it's sometimes hard to draw a line between. What do you think? Kate |
