| Grading & Enrollment Standard |
- Total grade is 100; English Composition
is 22%; British Literature is 21%; American Literature is 21%,
Literary Criticism is 21%, and Oral Exam is 15%.
- Only applicants who pass the preliminary
test will take the oral test.
- The enrollment will be according to the total grade. If there is more than one student having the same total grade, the priorities of choosing are
English Composition, British Literature, American Literature,
Literary Criticism, Oral Exam.

| Notes |
- Entering MA students with low entrance exam scores may be
required, at the discretion of the Admissions Committee, to take
relevant undergraduate credits in order to graduate, but such credits
will not count towards graduation.
