1. catalepsy: a disease which causes a person to become temporarily unconscious and his body rigid.

2.comatose: unconscious
       a medical use-- A person who is comatose is in a coma
    an informal use-- A person who is comatose in a deep sleep, usually  because they are tired or have
                              drunk too much alcoholic.          
       Grandpa lies comatose on the sofa.

 
3.congenital:
a medical use-- A congenital disease or medical condition is one that  a person has had from birth,
                              but is not inherited.
       When John was 17, he died of congenital heart disease.

4.contagious: A disease that is contagious can be caught by touching people or  things that infected with
                      it.

5.hemoglobin: haemoglobin.
                     Haemoglobin is the red substance in blood, which combines with  oxygen and carries it
                     around the body.
 
6   .intrinsic:
       If something has intrinsic value or intrinsic interest, it is valuable or interesting because of its basic nature or character, and not because of its connection with other things.
 
Diamonds have little intrinsic value and their price depends almost entirely on their society.

7.pigment:
       A pigment is a substance that gives something a particular color.
 

The Romans used natural pigments on their fabrics and walls.

8.porphyria: is an illness which manifests itself in the paling of the skin; a red rash about the mouth and nose.
 

9.porphyry: a type of hard, red rock which contains red and white crystals.  It may be polished and made into ornaments.
 

10.decapitate: if someone is decapitated, their heads are cut off.

11.notorious: to be well-know for something bad or evil.

12.impale: to pierce through with anything sharp in order to fix in a position as if by piercing or piercing through.
