Course Objectives:
        This course is to further and re-enforce what you have learned about conversation and composition in the fall semester.  For conversation and oral presentations, we shall continue to explore topics with more varieties and talk about current issues both local and abroad.  As a web class, we shall make full use of on line resources to help improve our English conversation and composition, and extend our in-class discussions and activities on the web to share our insight into local and international issues.  
       For composition, following what we have learned about report writing and synthesis, everyone shall learn to write a formal, well-organized, and well-written English report with three drafts and finally present the report in a conference organized for all sophomores.  Also, we will learn to write an extended definition paper and a cause and effect analysis paper to better master different modes of writing in English.  
      For conversation, we shall continue our exploration of various topics and conduct more oral presentations to consolidate and better our command of spoken English.  With the help of on-line discussions and activities, our learning progress shall be not be limited in the classroom.  As a result, we shall be enjoy the fun of improvement any time, anywhere
