      ELR collects literary critical articles, which are concerning literary works in the Renaissance mostly. There are still a few essays written about literary works before or after the Renaissance, but rarely.

    A critical and scholarly journal is published by Marquette University as a Christian witness to literature for promoting the study of values in literature.

    The volume in 1998 is the fifth anniversary edition. It looks back to articles that published in the previous volumes and selects some as the content for this volume. The focus is on moral order, Christianity, poetics and so on. Most topics are related to Christianity.

    Very similar to ELR, most essays in Renaissance are about Shakespeare and his contemporaries. However, this journal unlike ELR collects more essays discussing about culture, ethic, Christianity, Roman Catholic, identity, subjectivity and objectivity, and writing style.--Ally

      It is a journal published semi-annually by the Pennsylvania State University Press. The articles included in the journal are mainly discussing the classical literary works. The resources are divided into two parts. The first part is Articles, and the second part is the Book Reviews. Therefore, this journal provides a more specific way in dealing with a particular book rather than one of the notions extracted from the book.

    They are incomplete in Fu Jen Library. There are only three volumes, 1984, 1994, and 1996-97. The content arrangement is different since 1994. The contents include prospects, articles, review-essays, and book reviews. Usually there are four prospects a year.
