Tevye, father-------------------Daniel 潘佳豪

The Class of 2006 English Department. Seniors. Sounds crazy no? Indeed! Four years in a blink. Still can’t accept that college life is coming to an end. Honestly, I haven’t had enough of all of you yet! I can still recall the first few days in my freshman year. After all, it’s really a great privilege to know you all! Senior play has surely brought many of us back together. And you my friends, who have been there with me, participating in the part of tradition, I thank you. Every moment spent with you all is a moment of treasure. And I cherish it. God Bless You All!

Golde, mother-------------------Maria 姜予歆

Though playing a mother is no new thing for me, it is still a challenge especially when we have to work out all of the details by ourselves. It’s a lot of hard work, but the great amount of time and energy that I have spent on the senior play makes me cherish it the more. The joy that I get from working with everybody is the reason that makes me willing to fully devote myself into the play. The tears and the laughter we shared with each other will always be remembered. Just like how the Jews will never forget Anatevka, I will never forget Fiddler on the Roof. To senior play cast and crew: GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT PLAY and GREAT APPRECIATION beyond words…

I always know that I'm not born to be an actor. What I'm trying to say is - thank you all.

I am glad to have this opportunity to experience the entire process working on our senior play with my classmates. Acting, singing and dancing have become a major part of my life for months. During this time doing rehearsals again and again, I encountered many difficulties that made me really down. But I’ve survived! Although I was tired, I was still very happy to do the rehearsals everyday, for this is our last time we gather to present such a huge performance. I cherish the time we worked together very much. This experience will surely be one of the best memories of my college life. Besides, I’ve learned many precious lessons of life from this huge team work. It takes great passion, courage and conviction to make our senior play a success. We are making the history of the English Department that we all love!

It’s really not easy to be an actor, especially an actor in a musical. You not only have to act, but also have to sing and dance. Not to mention combine the three together. In order to present the best performance on stage, we spend lots of time and energy every day. We have to arrange time for acting rehearsals, singing practices and also dancing lessons. You won’t believe that before every rehearsal, we have to exercise for half an hour or more, including running and stretching, just to warm up. During the process, we’ve all been through a lot, some good things, some bad things; some angry moments, some touching moments. As we say in Chinese, “sour, sweet, bitter, and spicy.” Nevertheless, I will cherish this precious time working with all my friends. I believe many years later, I will still be smiling, remembering this moment.

We are going on a train and a boat; every single one of us is going on our own way and getting closer and closer to our dreams. The senior play means so much to me; it could be the last chance for all of us to exert ourselves for a goal, and it could be our last show before graduating. However, it won’t be a period; it’s a diamond dot; it will shine in our memories forever and never dissolve.

Thank you all for making my dream come true. :D

With four years of tears and laughters,

how nice it is to end in singing and dancing on stage!

And we'll remember everything that was taken place at Fu Jen like the show goes on forever.
