The Mystery of Lottery

Reporter 2 (Carol): Well, we are in the front of a famous temple in Taipei. In order to win the jackpot, increasing number of local citizens visit temples often. They wish to get enlightenment from the God and goddess for winning numbers. Are they faithful or superstitious? Let’s see if we can find any clues to answer this question.  That must be the well-known spiritual table. I believe many of you hear it can take questions from the informants regarding lottery.

Lois: (wondering) Oh! Really? 

Table-owner (Sharon): Oh! You gonna believe me. Ho ho ho! My table can also predict who might be the jackpot prize winner for the next issue. And within these two weeks, TEN thousands people visited me from far away to ask for the lucky numbers. Reporter 2 (Carol):  It seems the spiritual table has some kind of supernatural power. But, anyway, it is a table. Perhaps we should interview a fortune-teller for the prediction of winning numbers.

Fortune-teller (Flora): A person’s eyebrows are longer than eyes and has a big nose easily hits the prize. Besides, people who were born in January, June, November, December might have better luck than others. And I anticipate winning numbers for the upcoming issue will be 8, 9,10,11,12,13 and the special number will be 14! 

Reporter 2 (Carol): Well, let’s see if the numbers are the same as those she predicts.
