IX.  對過去發生過的事情之建議用法   

A. 常見詞: should have, ought to have*, could have, might have; 通常表達了悔意或帶責備的語氣:

Sharon should have applied for the job. (這句帶有悔意;apply for the job卻沒做)

Dylan could have done much better than that. (這具有責備的意味; Dylan可做的更好,但他卻沒有)

They might have told us the truth. (同上句)

否定句中
,我們只用should not have ought not to have,should not haveought not to have常用:

 You should not have left without telling your parents.

 Aaron ought not to have bought the apartment.

B. 問句: should (not) have最常用:

Should they have moved here?

Where should we have placed the boxes?

Shouldn’t you have told us earlier?
