Dylan could have done much better than that. (這具有責備的意味; Dylan可做的更好,但他卻沒有)

They might have told us the truth. (同上句)

否定句中,我們只用should not have和 ought not to have,又should not have較ought not to have常用:

 You should not have left without telling your parents.

 Aaron ought not to have bought the apartment.

B. 問句: should (not) have最常用:
