Haley Chang (Student
Director & Public Relations) was the student director of the play The
Romancers (Freshman Play Contest 1997) and she directed again in Midsummer.
In junior year, Haley was the Canada-Taiwanese exchange student at University
of North British Columbia. Just in November, she won the champion
of English Speech Contest in Fu-Jen. As to her future plan, she is
only sure that she will go abroad for further study but she said,"Life
is so unpredictable and hoping the best for me and take whatever comes
in the way!"
Wendy Yang (Stage Manager)
enjoys life and likes friends. Learning and playing are both important
in her college life. In junior year, she was the vice president of
Student Association of English department. She says she will be a "phoenix"
in the future.
Olivia Wang (Stage Manager)
hopes seniors can be successful because all of the members work so hard.
She is a Journalism minor and she plans to attend graduate school after
graduation. In junior year, she was the chief of Finance Section
in Student Association of English department.
Sonia Hsu (Costume) was
also in charge of costume in The Romancers (Freshman Play Contest 1997).
A native of Taipei, she somehow feels absent-minded these days. She
plans to work first and then study, or study first and go to work in the
future.
Steffi Yuan (Costume)
had some working experience of lighting in the Freshman Play Contest (1997).
She is from Taipei, a lazy, impatient but nice person! She had taken
an internship in a PR last summer. After graduation, maybe she will
work first in the mass-com area, and go abroad to take courses in MBA program.
Regina Liu (Propaganda)
loves to design cards, make hand-made cards, and make posters with POP.
However, designing the poster for this play was not so easy as she has
expected. It is really a challenging experience for her. She
felt so busy in those days. In the future, she hopes to have a chance to
study in Japan. At least, she can make a trip there!
Eva Jan (Propaganda)
is busy working the poster and designing the invitation cards. Although
it is a job making her tired, she feels it worthwhile to participate in
this event. Eva hopes that she can work and prepare for the exam
for one year and study abroad later. She takes a part-time job as
an English tutor and she is still single.
Ann Chuang (Finance)
played the role of the second applicant in Interview (Freshman Play Contest
1997). Ann feels that everyone really works hard to make the play
perfect. She is confident but is on her way to learn the idea of
"what is post, passing and to come" in Keat's poetry.
Mulder Chang (Sound Effects)
used to play the role of Mrs. Lehr in Please, No Flowers (Freshman Play
Contest 1997). She was an editor of English department newspaper:
Elite Press (¸s^³ø) in 1998. Taking part in the senior play, she
found her own stage in sound effects. Every time she presses a small
button, she feels she belongs there. Mulder wishes to keep studying
literature or to rent a small room in New York in the future.
Daisy Lin (Setting &
Props) enjoys her teaching in Sesame Street. She hasn’t decided to
work or to keep on studying in the future. Daisy describes herself
as a person with different characteristics.
Tony Lin (Photographic)
is busy with the exam of military officer as well as the exam of Bureau
of Investigation(ªk°È³¡½Õ¬d§½). He puts much pressure on himself
for keeping his physical conditions qualified for these exams.
