The Norton Introduction to Literature, Shorter Seventh Edition.

*At the start of some Tuesday class there will be a short writing practice on the content of the assigned readings.

Grading

The final grade will be based on the three major examinations (60%); the writing practices and group reports (20%); and attendance and class participation (20%). Students are expected to attend class.

If some one is unable to come to class, she or he should notify the Department Secretary before class and give her a written reason. Please stop by my office (SF 227) either Monday or Friday afternoons if you have any questions. It is best to call me ahead of time (Ext. 2562).
